Home for a Hunter

Alec walked down the street to his shared home, thinking more about what he had to do with himself then anything. Retter is kind enough to let Alec live with them and not have a job, even though he really wants to find a way to help the family. since Retter is the one with a job, he dosnt really have to worry about it.


shaking his head, he though about his past. he tended to do this as he walked,tounges moving slightly as he walked down to the corner of his street. Sighing, he walked up the street to his small house, listening to the growls coming from up and down the street.

walking into the house, he was overwelmed with the smell of food. Retter was in the kitchen, cooking beef stew.
"smells good retter" Alec said, unzipping his hoodie and putting it up on a hook by the door.
"thanks, i try" he replied,smirking a little.
"Anima and Fel-ix in the other room?"
"yup, Anima is reading a story to Fel-ix"
"good" Alec replied. "im gonna check on them"
"let them know that dinner will be ready soon"
"will do"

Alec left the kitchen, walking down the small room that Anima and Fel-ix shared. when he walked into the room, he heard Anima's voice reading the story of the dragon kings to Fel-ix, the younger of the two hunters completely enthralled by the female hunter's voice.
Alec smiled, leaning against the doorway. no matter what, this was his family. everything that had happened in the past was the past, now was now.

and he coudnt be happier.
