Wandering in Worry Empty Wandering in Worry

Why was his day getting worse? Favian had woken up with a slightly sore back, being his height and being forced to sleep on the couch. Tath had also given him an insane amount of trouble in the morning, and it took everything in his power to get the kid up for school. And once they got there, Tath only complained and complained about how much school sucked, and teachers sucked, and how Favian was lame. Remembering these things caused the poor Spitter's head to droop in a little sigh. He knew he was lame, but having his newly introduced little brother call him lame was a bit saddening.

Little Brother. That was an odd thing to think about. Favian was still unsure of how to react to all of that. And the sad thing was, he didn't have someone he could talk to about it. The Spitter didn't really have any friends, so he didn't have someone to confide in. Maybe he could go asked the Counselor? He then shuttered at the thought. He had been in that office once. That woman scared the shit out of him. How the children didn't completely avoid her, he didn't know. No, he couldn't go to her, and he didn't know who else could help him. Who knew about kids here? Scratching his neck in a nervous irritation he continued to walk through the halls. "I'm a teacher, and I can't even understand kids..." he mumbled to himself. The amount of failure he felt with saying this made his eyebrows droop a bit in his usual uneasy expression. He truly was... lame.

Favian's walk through the hall brought him past the student's lockers. He sighed and slowed and then looked over to a water fountain. He then walked over, his shoulders drooped in defeat. He really did look beaten and pathetic like this. With not having anyone to turn to, he was sure that Tath would simply do what he wanted for the rest of his life and Favian wouldn't have a say in any of it. The child didn't want to listen to him... Favian pulled down his mask, exposing his mouth that had been destroyed by his acid. His lips dissolved with raw skin down his chin and neck. He leaned down and drank from the water fountain as best he could while missing his lips.

Bending back up once done, he returned his mask and stared off a bit, looking to the time. Favian was lucky to not have a class right now. He wouldn't be distracted in front of his students. Though if he had been in class, he could use it as a distraction to his thoughts. And right now, they were racing. Running his fingers through his hair, he pulled a bit at his tie, mumbling some more things under his breath. He couldn't even go to the bar later to try and drown his worries tonight, because he had to stay home with Tath. Sighing once more, he slipped down and sat there in the hall, happy it was empty.

Finally getting up from his seated position in the hall, Favian finally struck up the courage he needed to actually head to the councilor. He headed down the hall with his head hung a bit low. One of his hands scratched nervously at the back of his other, looking very timid and nervous. For wearing a mask over his mouth, his face was oddly expressive. And just by looking at his worried eye, you could tell his dilemma with going to that scary office.
