Days of Our Lives

Emily glared down at the machine in front of her.

She had just gotten back from a paperwork delivery job, only to find an email for her on her desk computer. Emails were never a good thing for her.

The witch sighed as she collapsed into her rolling chair. All she wanted to do was sit at her desk read the book she had brought with her, or play on her phone. But it seems that today just wouldn't be one of those day.

She slowly sat up and double clicked on the flashing message, If she didn't take care of it now then the person who sent it would just come in and bitch at her.

She narrowed her eyes as she processed the typed message.

“Are you kidding me?” she said to herself. “What the hell do they think I am? Some I.T. guy??” she growled.

The message was from the counselor's office.

Apparently the ONLY working printer in the school had broken and they wanted her to come and fix it.

Her maroon eyes glared as her claws twitched in annoyance.

“I don't know how to fix a printer! I'm just an office flunky....” she mumbled.

But she knew they didn't care. So she pushed off her desk and stood up from her desk. She straightened out her clothing and began to make her way out of the office.

She headed down the halls. They were slightly full of students, being that they were changing classes, which made her want to just snap.

But she took a deep breath and headed into the hordes of students. Emily pushed and swiveled around the students, not caring if they yelled at her or complained. After much work she finally arrived at the counselor's office.

“Hey.” she greeted. “I'm here to, uh, fix the printer.” she stated awkwardly.
