Olivia skipped along happily, holding her mother's hands. The two spitters sauntered down the street and into J.J.Scoops. As soon as they entered, Olivia darted over to the ice cream selection and gazed down, her eyes darting around as she struggled to make a decision.

Emma waltzed over and leaned on the counter, smirking smugly as she looked around to see where (or even if) Scuttle could be lurking. She took her daughter here for the sole reason of irritating anyone there when she could.

"oooh, do you think they have any new flavors?" Olivia asked, looking at Emma.

"Dunno. Yah gotta ask them who work here." Emma tapped her nails ion the counter. "yo yo yo! you back here?" the spitter called out. Her spit pooled on the counter and she watched it, wondering if it would burn through the counter top. olivia pressed her face against the window on the ice cream holder.

Instead of a large and usually grumpy grey hunter, like one might expect at J.J. Scoops, the two spitters were greeted by the loud and cheerful little hunter named Knaw. He was under the counter at the time that the two customers had arrived. There he was playing with Scuttle’s large chowchow, Macaroni. Usually Scuttle kept all three of his dogs here at the ice cream store since they weren’t allowed back at their house, but for some reason Cheesecake and Breadsticks (the two puppies) weren’t here. Knaw figured that Scuttle took both of them out for a walk in the park, or to pick out some Christmas presents for them. After school, Knaw always loved to go and visit Scuttle while he was at work. It wasn’t always a surprise to find the store open yet empty. His older brother had the habit of leaving his shift at any given point. Sometimes when that happened, Knaw found it entertaining to try and take over the store and serve customers in Scuttle’s place.

When the bell sounded from the front door, Knaw was busy giving a massage to the huge mass of fur and fat that was Macaroni. The little hunter’s hands shot up and he peeked around the side of the counter, seeing the two female spitters. He recognized the smaller girl as one of his classmates, but he didn’t know her name. “Be right back Macaroni,” he whispered to the golden coated dog who was busy snoozing. Knaw giggled excitedly and bit his lip to try and remain quiet. He reached over to one of the shelves under the counter and grabbed a J.J. Scoops visor. Quickly fastening it around his head over his hood, he popped up from his hiding place and waved an arm widely. “Well hello there! Welcome to J.J. Scoops! You here for some ice cream?” Knaw hopped up on a small box so he could place his elbows on the counter. Then he noticed the spitter acid that was on the other side, yet he didn’t seem buffered by the sight of it. He just continued to grin and say, “Oh don’t worry ‘bout that by the way. The store’s totally infected proof. Tank proof glass and everything!” Even though Knaw was adorned with the signature J.J. Scoops visor, he still looked no older than a day of twelve. It was certainly odd that he was here alone in the food establishment with no adults around. Though Knaw didn’t seem to be aware of this fact and continued to smile at his customers.

"Hey there squirt! You filling in for Scuttle?" Emma grinned and patted his head. Olivia stood beside her and looked at Knaw.raised an eyebrow, before looking back to knaw.
"Oh! You're in my class, aren't you?" asked the young spitter. She put a hand to her chin, thinking hard. "You're name is Knaw, isn't it?"

"You two know each other?" Emma asked, pleased.

"Oh, we're not friends. We've never really spoken to each other, I've just seen him in my class a lot." Olivia corrected.

"Uh yeah." Emma raised an eyebrow, before leaning lazily on the counter and looking at Knaw. "And yes boy, we're here for some ice cream. You guys got any new flavors in? What would you recommend from your current selection?"

The small little hunter blinked once at the older spitter, and then at the smaller one who was in his class. His little mind buzzed; Oh wow! I wonder how they know my brother’s name! That’s kinda creepy! Usually he doesn’t give out his real name to customers! And ah! What?! She knows MY name too?! Aw man this is all kinds of freaky! “Ehehe….heh… Uh yeah.” Knaw tried not to show how uncomfortable he was starting to feel. He swallowed nervously and glanced down at the sleeping dog at his feet. Well, with Macaroni here, Knaw felt at least somewhat protected. You know, just in case these people turned out to be from the government to abduct him and all. “She’s in my class…” Knaw glanced over to the smaller spitter girl with his hidden eyes. “I’m sorry, my name’s Knaw! I’m always busy in class so I don’t have enough time to make friends with everyone…” Knaw glanced at her mom worriedly, “But I think we can be friends now!” He snickered a little and put his hands on his cheeks. Knaw crept his hands up further and he grabbed the brim of his J.J. Scoops visor, dipping it like a gentleman would. He forced a grin and reeled his head back when the girl’s mother leaned over the counter. “Uh…w-well… I don’t think we have any new flavors…” Knaw glanced at the display case of ice cream flavors, noticing a new color that he has never seen before. “Oh wait!” Knaw hopped down from his box and peered inside, reading the little label. “We have green tea flavor now!” The hunter looked back up with a grin that could be seen from miles away.

"My, what a polite hunter you are! Men like you are so rare these days." Emma remarked, pleased.

"Green tea?" Olivia looked at her mother, and Emma returned the stare.

"Are we allowed to try the flavor?" Olivia asked shyly, moving slightly behind her mother. She suddenly felt nervous. People rarely smiled her way. The only ones who did were usually her mother and her mother's boyfriend. "I mean...if we can't, then i'll take something else."

Emma snorted examined the flavors.
"I know I for one will have some of that green tea, just for something new."

“Urrm…” Knaw nervously tapped the tips of his sharp claws together. His hooded eyes frantically looked around the store. The little hunter wasn’t sure if he was allowed to give free samples on his own without Scuttle’s permission. “Well I think we only do that…during the summer.” Knaw bit his lip unsurely. It was true that J.J. Scoops tended to be slower in the winter time, and it was known by Knaw that Scuttle only gave samples out when he was in an unusually good mood. That was practically never nowadays. “But hey! If your mom is getting the green tea ice cream…I suppose you can just try some of hers to see if you like it first…” He suggested, trying to be helpful.

Knaw jumped back onto the box and replaced his hands on the counter, imitating what he’s seen his older brother do when he was laying down the line. “So do you wanna cup or a cone? What size?”

"Well that's a damn fine idea." Emma grinned. "I'll take a cup, two scoops cause I can." She patted Olivia's head. "A spoon would be mighty fine as well."
As the older spitter watched Knaw, Olivia had a question come to mind.

"You said this store was built to be infected proof. How did they manage that? I thought Tanks could break through anything when they got mad enough." the young spitter asked, watching her mom's spit that had landed on the counter top. "Was it like a test and improve as needed kinda thing?"

“Okay!” Knaw grinned widely and nodded his head forward like a good host. He hopped down from the box again and turned to the back counter, going up on his tippy-toes to grab a Styrofoam cup from a tall stack. He turned back around and hopped over to the display case of ice cream, grabbing the handle and flipping open the back. While he was grabbing the ice cream scooper, he looked up at Olivia when he heard her ask a question. “Well yeah of course it’s infected proof! Almost everything in the school is infected proof too! I would cost a lotta money if everyone had to keep rebuilding everything! Infecteds like tanks can’t always control their rage, ya know!” He pressed the scooper into the pale green ice cream and pulled out some ice cream. He made sure it was perfect before plopping it into the cup he held in his other hand. He repeated the progress for the second scoop, and then returned the scooper to the bucket of warm water. “Plus Scuttle says there’s like… something called…infected insurance. But I don’t know what that means.” The small hunter continued to smile as he shrugged. “Something boring, probably!” Knaw cheerfully hopped back onto his box and placed the cup of ice cream on the counter in front of Olivia’s mom. “Here you go!” He reached over and plucked two plastic spoons from the display rack and handed them over. “I hope it’s good!”

"Infected insurance, eh? Interesting." Emma pulled the ice cream to the edge so that Olivia could reach. Together, they each took a scoop of the ice cream and tasted it. olivia's eyes glowed with silent approval and emma smirked.
"This here is some mighty fine ice cream. We'll take another cup for the little one here!" emma stated. She slapped some change down on the counter. "This is to pay for it all. Any extra is yours to keep; a tip for bein' such a mighty fine host. Much better manners than your brother that's for sure."

"But ma! I thought you liked tormenting people like Scuttle!" olivia asked, looking up.

"Oh that i do. But it's nice to have a polite server every now and then."

Sunshine Panaginip has enough with the current conversation... the little Filipina Jockey is dying to talk to Knaw! *cough*nowthatskeetisn'taround*cough* The little fangirl is plastered with love in all her features! Big googly eyes, a gigantic grin, and her flesh...although dead as it is.... bright red! Flowing with blood that isn't suppose to be there in the first place. She's been stalking Knaw for quite sometime now.... but isn't able to build the courage to introduce herself properly as his number one stalker....probably the only one at that.

Sunshine looks at the little hunter with dreamy eyes.... seeing the prince that saved him a loooong time ago. She pictures the time when she was locked in a tower with an evil tall zombified kid was bullying her fragile heart. Princess Sunshine was unable to be free from the grasp of the tall creature with long tongue of eeeeeeevvvvvviiiii~~~~~lllll!!! But alas, a prince arrives with his cuteness overpowering the evil and saved Sunshine from what seems to be her worst nightmare!

Although she had always pictured her first meeting with Knaw this way..... it was a whole lot simple than princesses and evil tall creature. It was only that time when she first entered L4MS as the little Filipina foreigner and was simply living a normal school life. She was ignored a lot... and seemed like she could never fit in. Knaw being as friendly as he is simply talked to her that fateful day which saved her from her loneliness. It was as simple as that.

But this Jockey was so traumatized about entering a new school could never remember what really happened.... and had all this fantasies overpower her little brain.

Back to reality... Sunshine follows Knaw everywhere... and so she ended up in JJ Scoops that fine day. She finally has the chance to greet Knaw....worried that he will never remember their encounter.... but doesn't really care....just as long as she can somehow talk to the little hunter she calls her savior.

She enters the place with her messed up grin, walks towards the counter, and greets Knaw with her biggest smile yet!

"HELLOKNAWILOVEYOUSOMUCH!!!!"

Emma looked down to the little jockey, amused. She moved over to make room for her, gently nudging her daughter to the side. Olivia looked at Sunshine curiously, never having seen a jockey this close before. The little spitter wondered aimlessly what the adults were like close up. would they blow her away talking to her? were they friendly? were they all such fast talkers? As olivia pondered all this, she slowly nommed on the cup of ice cream. Emma put a hand on her hip, and rested her elbow on the counter.

"Well looky here, boy. Seems you got yourself a fan." the spitter told the little hunter. "How you gonna reply?" she teased, grinning.
